Artist's Comments

This swan was really fluffing his feathers to impress a lady swan sitting on the bank. He flew in (I missed that shot) with his wings full spread and then made noises as he puffed up his wings for her to see. Scared all the ducks away too...

Taken by lake Saint Joseph at the University of Notre Dame.

Awesome, I've had a rush of recent favs for it thanks your you, no doubt. I appreciate it. It's spring again now so I'll be hunting them again with my zoom lens.

Hopefully get some pics of the babies this year.

Just change your description to say it's not stock, but used with permission.

Done! I changed it to say it's not stock
...no, I was looking in the DA search for "swan stock" and the image was there, and I was so in love with the picture that I didn't realize it was so lovely because it was an artistic photo, not stock, jijiji...
