So, I made a teacup for my first model, then threw it away and decided to dive in and try something much more... challenging.

So, I started modeling Raven from Teen Titans (Inspired by *14-bis's Raven Art Jam.)

Let me tell you it sucks, but I'm starting to get the hang of the tools. It's not as easy as tutorials make it look, and getting the shape to look right was hell. I'm really having fun though and learning a lot.

What program?

I just...uh...acquired...a copy of Lightwave 9. Bought myself 'Inside Lightwave 9' on Amazon and plan on re-teaching myself the program as a year's goal. I took a course in Lightwave 7 back in 2005ish, so I need to be brought back up to speed.

Perhaps if we get all fancy and knowledgeable we could collaborate.

I'm playing with modo right now. But I still use lightwave too.

I got a 90-node Lightwave renderfarm at work too if you have a big scene to render.
